====== MoreLore version 2.0.0 Released ======

You can download the updated version of MoreLore on Curseforge! Some key things to keep in mind with this release:

  * Terrain generation affecting mods have changed - old worlds will likely break
  * Tech Reborn has been removed

As I slowly refine the pack, I made a couple of big changes that broke backwards compatibility. However, I think the changes bring the pack more in line with what I originally set out to do, which was to make a better vanilla experience. While Better End is an awesome mod, it also affected how worlds generate under the hood. In it's place is now the more vanilla friendly: Nullscape. Overworld terrain generation is also completely revamped, and is now based on a Terrablender-configured combination of:

  * Terralith
  * Regions Unexplored
  * Graveyard Biomes
  * William Wyther's Overhauled World

While this change makes your worlds look awesome, there is a definitely a performance impact if you plan on running your own server. It is highly recommended to do run a pre-generation task, using the included Chunky mod, before inviting your friends on! I did forget to include the MoreVillagers mod, but I will be adding it in the next update, which should be out by next week.

===== When will it be live here =====

I plan on migrating the current, private Pixelfish modded server over in the July/August time frame. This will give me some time to work out any issues with early releases of the pack. I've discovered that quite a few new 1.20.1 mods have dependency issues that almost made me put the whole release on the back-burner. Luckily, most of those issues have been resolved. I am really excited to see what you guys build! If you're a YouTuber and are doing a "let's play" using my pack, reach out and let me know! I hope you're excited, because there's more in store!
